USB TYPE-C VS MICRO USB

Why do manufacturers n consumers started using USB Type-C when micro USB was working just fine? We shall find out...
  • Remember the times you tried to insert your charger in a wrong side by mistake? Remember the time when in the darkness you had to change side before inserting the charger into your phone's port?
Well you guessed correct  Micro USB can be inserted into your phone in just one direction but with USB Type-C, you don't have to check the port before inserting your charger into your phone as it is bidirectional!
  • The second big reason for the shifting from Micro USB to USB Type-C is, while data transfer from laptops the data rate using USB Type-C is quite faster in comparison to Micro USB.
  • Further, USB Type-C is capable of charging your phones, tablets and laptops faster as it support 100 watts power transfer through it. Well most laptops need only 65 watts!
  • USB Type-C is capable of transferring audio too, hence in many smartphone the 3.5mm jack and Micro USB port have been replaced by just a single USB Type-C port.
There are presently many versions of USB Type-C too. Generally version 3.1 is faster than 3.0, which is faster than 2.0
