AIRCEL DEAD OR JUST NETWORK ISSUES?

Receny the Chennai based,Indian telecom company Aircel is going through a tough time. The company is facing a severe fund crunch and has told its employees to prepare for the worst. According to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)  annual report 2015-16, Aircel has a subscriber base of over 8.709 crore in India.



PRESENT SCENARIO : At the end of January 2018, Aircel had shut down its services in six circles which includes Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh (West). The services in other regions also have been hit. According to some of the customers they were neither able to make a call nor receive and they termed it as the first step towards total closure of services. Some complained that they were unable to use the mobile number porting facility due to network issues. However the company outlet employees tried to convince the protesting customers, saying the rumours were spread by the competitors and claimed there were no such issues…

HUAWEI LEAKING CUSTOMER'S PRIVACY - TRUTH OR FAKE?

Recently on February 14, the U.S. Intelligence agencies like FBI, CIA and NSA and three others have issued firm warning to all American citizens  not to buy smartphones and services made by Chinese tech companies Huawei or ZTE.



The companies’ troubles date back to 2012, when a House Intelligence Committee cited both of these as potential security risks over close ties to the Chinese government. Following year, they were both barred from selling product to the U.S. government.

FBI director Chris Wray expressed his concerns on Tuesday, “We’re deeply concerned about the risks of allowing any company that is beholden to foreign governments. It provides the capacity to maliciously modify or steal information." Back in 2012, the Congress released a report saying the two Chinese companies should be viewed "with suspicion."

Xiaomi is going to launch its new phone, the Redmi Note 5 pro on 14th February 2018 as a sucessor to the Redmi Note 5.
